Take The Guesswork Out Of Meal Planning With Our Vegetarian Meals
To be a vegetarian is to consume non-animal-based foods, such as fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, seeds and yeast. Dairy products, honey and eggs can be included at the discretion of the vegetarian. This diet excludes foods that consist of or have been produced from animals, which includes but is not limited to meat, poultry and fish.
Following recommended guidelines on nutrition, fat consumption and weight control, vegetarians can build plant-based meals that serve their nutritional needs, and in some cases receive health benefits that help with the prevention and treatment of certain diseases.
Vegetarian Meals
The vegetarian menu options from Mom’s Meals® are all “lacto-ovo vegetarian,” which means meals include dairy, eggs, beans, plant proteins and nuts. The meals are all dietitian-approved and contain no animal proteins.
